If you care about where and how your bike parts are made, you should care about where and how your clothes are made.
Just like brakeless fixed gear, this shirt isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s 100% made in the USA: grown, woven, cut, sewn, designed, and printed in America.
100% USA cotton shirts made by Los Angeles Apparel in LA by workers earning up to $25 an hour and no less than $17.87; workers have healthcare benefits for less than $15 per week, a 401k plan, paid sick days, subsidized bus passes and favorable overtime benefits.
Designed by my fellow fixed gear loving metalhead and tattoo artist friend in Chicago, Alan. Alan and I became friends when he recognized me at a restaurant in Logan Square, we got talking, and we clicked immediately. Printed by Garage Champs in my hometown, Sacramento, that a certain local fixed gear rider calls his workplace (if you know, you know).
The shirts have a modern, boxy fit with a high-ribbed collar that remains structured over countless washes. I, Zach, have been wearing the same singular T-shirt at home and to sleep every night for the past year and a half. It’s the shirt I have the most hours in. No bacon neck and no holes. The fabric has a broken-in texture that feels like your favorite band tee of decades past.
This shirt was built to be one of your favorite tees for the rest of your life.
Zero corners were cut. Just how it should be:
Made in Los Angeles
Designed in Chicago
